Continuous collaboration, European scale, real-world evidence
OHDSI’s mission is to improve health by empowering a community to collaboratively generate the evidence that promotes better health decisions and better care. The European symposium provides a platform to share results and ideas about OMOP CDM, tool development, and future research across the continent.
The 2026 symposium in Rotterdam will include collaborator showcases, posters, podium presentations, and interactive demonstrations of OHDSI’s open-source tools. The day includes updates from national nodes, large European projects, and other initiatives, along with significant time reserved for networking and newcomer engagement.
The main symposium is on April 20, 2026 aboard the SS Rotterdam, while workshops and workgroup meetings take place on April 18–19, 2026 at the Erasmus University Medical Center Education Centre.

The weekend program on April 18–19, 2026 is dedicated to workshops and workgroup meetings and is included with symposium registration.
Main Symposium Day
The symposium day on Monday, April 20, 2026 features sessions focused on evidence generation, European initiatives, tool development, and collaborative discussion.

Attendance is €195 (regular) or €65 (students), and the ticket also covers the workshops and workgroup meetings at no additional cost. Registration closes on April 3, 2026.
Show your work: posters, demos, and lightning talks
OHDSI Europe accepts submissions for posters and software demonstrations to be presented during collaborator showcases. Selected authors may also be invited to present in a lightning or rapid-fire session.
- Abstracts must show a connection to OHDSI and relevance to Europe.
- Submissions are not limited to finished research; future OMOP-CDM plans are also welcome.
- Topics include data management, analytics infrastructure, methodology, evidence generation, and applications.
